WS 93 WE 90Producer Tasting Notes
An intense ruby-red colour with garnet highlights, it opens immediately rich and complex on the nose, with notes of black cherry, myrtle-leaved orange and violets. In the mouth it proves fresh, silky and elegant, with a precise tannic structure. Very long, with a pleasant aftertaste of cherries and chocolate.Vineyard Notes
Soils of the three slopes of the appellation: limestone clay with a polygenic conglomerate, sand from the strong erosion of Pietra Forte (a typical sandstone from this area) and Flysch galestro.Winemaking
The grapes from the three vineyards are fermented separately at a temperature of 25-27°C. Maceration on the skins for 20-25 days.Ageing
In 50-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels for 24 months and 12 months concrete vats. Bottle maduration: At least 12 months.Largest Wine Storage Facility in Tampa / Ybor
