The 2018 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Malconsorts is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with aromas of cassis, plums, spices, smoked duck, potpourri and rich soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, rich and powerful, its a concentrated, textural wine built around succulent acids and ripe tannins, its ample core of fruit complemented by enticing carnal nuances.Vineyard Notes
Domaine de Montille has the privilege of working with two parcels of Les Malconsorts, this one covering 0.89 hectare with the soils in the higher part (light brown clay with pebbles) being different yet very complimentary to those at the bottom (deep red clay).
